Yonas Tadesse
Yonas is a self-taught photographer who became deeply interested in everything artistic, musical, and exploration from a very young age. With a keen eye for culture and stories, Yonas’ drive comes from the desire to unravel the meaning behind images. He believes the streets are full of life and there are stores everywhere and everything has a voice. Through his photography, Yonas aims to provide a platform to voice these stories. His work has been featured in various print and online media from Vogue Italia to Selamta. A true patron, Yonas gives back to his community by providing photo trainings and workshops to young and up coming enthusiasts.

Africa has born persistence phenomenon in creativity and what best way to start the learning journey than through creative arts. Kiondo is inspired by the daily life of a village woman in Africa.

The Addis Foto Fest (AFF) was established in 2010 by award-winning photographer and cultural entrepreneur, Aida Muluneh. The festival is organized by Desta for Africa Creative Consulting PLC. AFF is a biennial international photography festival held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It has previously featured exhibitions, portfolio reviews, conferences, projections and film screenings in many different renowned venues. It is also the first and only international photography festival in East Africa.
